Hello friends! Things have been hectic around here lately, but I wanted to share a small project from a couple of weeks ago. A dried flower arrangement...
I just couldn't part with these lovely pink roses in the perfect hue, so I decided to make a floral arrangement with them. I was inspired by this article on dried flowers in the January issue of Jeanne D'Arc Living magazine:
The arrangement looked so pretty and will far outlast fresh roses. I simply placed the dried roses in a small vase inside this pretty metal pot. I added water within the pot for my fresh baby's breath. In time I'll remove the water once they've dried, too.
Just for fun, here's a vignette of paper flowers, too. I don't have the greenest thumb so these looks suit me fine!

Love the dried flowers. Gorgeous.
Have a nice day.
Your dried flower arrangement is gorgeous Susan! I never throw my roses away anymore, I think I prefer them dried than fresh:) I love your little book bundle too, so pretty!
So beautiful! I have begun using my dried white roses that my husband has gotten me and truly love them. Once their dead they are dead and I can use them for along time. (did that just make any sense) :) I love the way they look.
Yours are wonderful with the added baby's breath.
Gorgeous.
I hear ya on the green thumb :)

I've recently started experimenting with dried flowers in my home decor, and I must say, they add such a charming touch to any room! Not only do they retain their beauty for much longer than fresh flowers, but they also bring a rustic elegance that fresh arrangements sometimes lack. I particularly love how versatile they are—perfect for creating wreaths, table centerpieces, or even framed art pieces. It's like having a piece of nature indoors all year round! Looking forward to reading more tips on how to incorporate dried flowers into everyday decor. best australian native flowers
