New Flea Market Finds, French Larkspur Treasures and 1st Communion!

Hello friends!  Our family just had a whirlwind weekend celebrating our son's First Holy Communion, and what a special day that was.  I'll share more on that later in the post...

First I wanted to quickly share some new listings on Etsy:

I was happy to discover these crochet pieces and vintage colored pencils box at the flea recently.  They rest on some fabulous transferware plates!

I adore the patina and blue color on these plates - gorgeous!!

I also found these vintage yarn cones in delightful colors:

And have you heard that Tracey from French Larkspur is back from France and has stocked her shop with the amazing French flea market finds?  I couldn't resist purchasing this ribbon and these buttons from her, and she was so kind to include a page from a French book.  I hope to use these in crafts soon.
Thank you Tracey!

Now on to the most important thing that's happened to us recently.  My sweet little boy received First Holy Communion for the first time on Saturday.  We had a beautiful day, and family came from 3 different states to celebrate.  Outside our beautiful church a parade passed by with American Idol finalist Angie Miller.  She had returned for her hometown parade and concert!  It was a bit surreal to hear the marching band and cheers during our Mass.  An exciting and happy day for many!

Here's our special guy - our celebrity that day:

Hope you're all enjoying a splendid May so far!

You have such a precious family! It can't get much better than to see our children make such milestone decisions in their spiritual walk with God. Believe me there were angels marching in a parade in heaven for those little kiddos too!
