Gently laundering the nightie with mild detergent and a squeeze of lemon freshened it up. Saturday offered a perfect day to air it outside with some fresh lilac floating along.
Smells like spring!
I also got this little glittered crown at the same store with the nightie. Its' original shiny beads up top didn't appeal to me too much...
...so I painted the beads with white and gray to soften the look:
It now presides over the white wardrobe containing all my supplies for creating:
This season offers a fresh perspective on decorating, as spring cleaning often evolves into spring rearranging. This romantic white chair from our bedroom was moved to the dining room. It fills up the space in front of the shutter with the butterfly garland:
Sometimes the littlest changes make a big impact.
Happy spring, dear friends!

What precious treasures! I love the baby's nightgown, and it's so sweet seeing it there hanging to dry outside with the lilac sprig!
So beautiful Susan!! I use to collect vintage children's clothing and it always amazed me at the beautiful detail that the clothing was always made with.
I love your crown too!!
I hope you are doing well my friend and have a lovely night.
Sincerely,
Melinda
How precious that little nightie is! I love drying things outside:) I love your little crown and it definitely looks better with the beads painted white!
I find it hard to pass up these sweet little gowns when I come across them. So darling! It's so nice to be able to easily change things up for a new season. Your corner is beautiful. I'd love to make a garland like that sometime. I love the mix of papers.
All of your photos are so pretty! What a sweet mom to let you have a moment to yourself.
