Autumn in the Dining Room

I can't believe it's already almost time for Thanksgiving!  I see that a lot of you are already in the Christmas spirit, getting out your decor and project ideas.  Since we're hosting Thanksgiving I can't start that process yet (but you know I'd love to).
Thanksgiving will be celebrated in our serene dining room...but I'm sure it won't feel too serene that morning when we're trying to get everything ready!  For now, I'll enjoy this peace...

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, friends, and I'll be back to share all things Christmas soon.
In the meantime, you can find me on Instagram these days - I just joined in the fun.
Also, be sure to visit my Etsy shop.  Many items from the holiday bazaar have been listed, and some have already sold.

Everything looks calm, peaceful and soothing.

We too are hosting Thanksgiving so I have to be patient and wait to decorate until next weekend.

It is simply beautiful. I do not decorate for Christmas until after Thanksgiving either but I did put out a tiny white tree in a white washed bucket this week and a white chippy star. Pinecones found at the lake are in white bowls and grey candles will center our thanksgiving table. I am so glad you joined Instagram I am off to follow you!!! xxo

It's a wonderful Home to host ThanksGiving in.
As for Christmas my daughters friends homes already have there tree up. I know that old world traditions as to mom cooking turkey and dad out chopping down the Christmas tree to then decorated it ThanksGiving day just seams to be way to much to handle, but I think we will be starting on ThanksGiving day over here as well, just a bit to get the spirit moving.

Your holiday will be welcomed and embraced in your beautiful home of whites and naturals.
Xx
