Mini Hares

Another less-than-stellar weekend of weather had me creating again.  There's more snow outside, but it's starting to look like spring indoors.  These miniature hares were the product of much patience, let me tell you.  The Tilda's Fairytale Wonderland book had patterns for the sweetest little animals - and I mean little.  They measure just over 5 inches tall, but what they lack in size they make up for in cuteness.

Here they are under a wire tree I started decorating for Easter...

Mr. Hare hasn't got his shorts on yet (the fabric hasn't arrived in the mail), but he'll be looking dapper soon enough.  In the meantime, he isn't shy.

My Easter rabbit enjoys the company as he waits patiently for spring and Easter to arrive...

Happy spring decorating to you!!

Sweet sweet bunnies. I'm planning to make little bunnies for my granddaughters for Easter. And their Easter dresses. Time to get started!

These are so darling, Susan! I have such a thing for bunnies. Your little guy is so cute in his long underwear, who needs pants?!!

Did you make the eggs hanging on your tree? I'd really love to add some to my little tree but have no idea how to start.

Have a lovely week!

XO,
Jane

So lovely! I love your Easter tree, too.
Simple and unusual. I used to make one with branches, now can't wait to have a house of my own to start the tradition again!
Big hugs from here,
Monica xoxo

These are 'crazy darling' Susan! I can't wait to get a copy of this new book. Your little tree surrounded by your sweet new creations is so pretty. I love them!!!! You are so talented-and what a wonderful way to spend some stormy days.
I just love, love, love Tilda!

I am working on the little bear. Good heavens! So tiny. I had to use part of my turning tool set to turn under the seam allowances. But, you are right. They are so cute you can't help but keep going! The little bunnies are lovely!
