I've been coloring with crayon on our wall. Kids - do as I say, not as I do.
Yes, I stenciled in two crowns on our dining room wall with brown CRAYON. On purpose.
Here is our Blessed Mother fittingly displayed under one of the crowns:
The wall surrounding the white vintage mirror just looked a bit bare, and needed something. I was inpired by an old Jeanne D'Arc Living magazine to stencil in two small crowns alongside the mirror.
And if I don't like it after a while, I can just wipe it off. That's the benefit of using a washable crayon. It also gave a more rustic texture than paint:
The stencil was made from a clip-art crown image I found online, cut from sturdy card stock. I just colored inside the shape.
I haven't had a chance to decorate too much for Easter, since we just finished celebrating both my fellas' birthdays - phew!
But I did put out a few items here and there...
And this spring china looks cheerful peeking out of the box I got from the White Elephant outlet:
Speaking of cheerful, here's a sneak peek of what's coming to my Etsy store. I'll let you know when the 'Garden Party' collection has been listed:
I hope you all enjoy a Blessed and happy Easter!
