Keeping good company with the foxgloves....
On a nearby fence our New Dawn rose climber is growing gangbusters. I photographed this first bloom last week:
The cut peonies offer such a lovely fragrance to my corner desk in the living room:

Hi Susan! I love peonies and mine are just now starting to bloom. I can't wait to have little photo shoots of them :) I decided to sell some of my blooms this year because I have hundreds of blooms and I hate to see them go to waste. A local florist buys them and while I love to dry them to make wreaths, it makes sense to sell some.

ReplyDeleteYour peonies are just gorgeous, Susan! Mine finally bloomed too, though I missed them in their full glory when we were away last week. I just love the cottage feel of your garden with the pretty foxgloves and roses! I've not heard of that magazine, I'll be sure to check it out, as it sounds like it's right up my rue:)
