Fleurs

Spring showers bring May flowers, and aren't they pretty?  We're enjoying the last of our purple lilacs this week.  A small change was made to a dining room corner to showcase their lovely color. 

I sewed a small ruffled tablecloth for this white table, and propped some lilacs on top.  They blend well with the colors in this 'Present Pillow' from my Etsy store, as well as the ribbons on the vintage papers:


One of our rhododendron bushes is in bloom, too.  Pretty in pink...


May wouldn't be the same without our little Lily of the Valley flowers peeking up:


I enjoyed sharing blooms from our garden with you, and seeing many of yours.  Happy spring!

    Very pretty, Susan! I grow a lot of Lily of the valley and never thought to put them in a small vase like this...beautiful! Love the pillow you made, too! :)

    it is funny checking in across the country seeing everyone's flowers blooming and gardens coming alive.

    Our yard is fake, our plants are fake and the one we do have is an aloe plant, lol

    When I am allergic to everything and live in the desert, I have to live thru others to see beautiful flowers and plants.

    How luminously lovely are the pale pastels!! And the rhododendrons are a marvel to me, for I'd never seen any til we moved here.

    Beautiful vignette! I love lilacs - I grew up in a backyard that had beautiful lilac trees. I miss them! The pink flowers are gorgeous! Happy Mother's Day!
