Our kitchen is cozy this time of year. I'm not much of a chef (I'll admit), but like to bake. Especially at Christmas. The scent of Christmas surrounds this little room, where I've added greenery and touches of red.
Over at the window, the hanging basket gets greenery and silver ornaments:
Vintage postcards are displayed underneath:
On the table - this little green tree was a gift from a work colleague 20 years ago. I've always thought it was sweet - his Mom made it. :)
I made a few red ticking lavender sachet ornaments as gifts, and kept this cheerful Santa:
The area surrounding the sink was inspired by the November issue of Romantic Homes magazine. I adored the kitchen in Marie Johansson-Karlsson's home, and took my cues from it, gingerbread house and all:
I enlisted my dear husband to draw this festive horn on our chalkboard, heralding the good news:
