Fall Flea Market Finds

What a glorious fall weekend we just had here.  I was able to hit the local flea market with my Mom, which was a nice treat.  She behaved and didn't buy a thing, whereas I....well...here you are:

How could I resist this serene, beautiful, patina-ed, breathtaking garden statue of our Blessed Mother...

She was my last find of the day and by far the favorite. 

I was on the hunt for vintage white linens, and the search paid off.  The embroidery and crochet edgings on these various pieces really caught my eye:



It's never too early to shop for vintage Christmas!  These were all found at the Flea:

Love this old white bottlebrush tree, and the vintage mother of pearl buttons:

Speaking of Christmas, I've been busy covering some mini boxes with vintage wallpaper and ephemera.  They'll get ribbons to hang as ornaments.  Hmmmm...to keep or sell on Etsy.  Tough decision!

    the linens, the Mary statue, and the stacked to the ceiling, wrapped so lovely, chistmas gifts ~ HA, that is something they do in whoville!!

    Oh, such great goodies you found. Love the statue. I recently purchased a similar one with the concrete surround base that she stands in. Both have a few cracks that were mended, but I'm going to try and repair and repaint. I bought to resell, but really want to keep them.....I guess we'll see how well they turn out. I never mind a few cracks..LOL

    Well my friend, you certainly did found some great treasures! The statue of Mary is really beautiful! Ohh my...and you really scored with all the lovely white linens that you found!     The linens are wonderful. Remind me of my Nana's --a few I still have! Any idea of their age? The other treasures great too! We need more of those markets here. Well, I'll just have to find them in your Etsy store:)

    Loving those little boxes...anything mini is awesome in my book actually. The light colors are wonderful, these would make great little decorations for a party, even hanging from a chandelier!
